What you can contribute

• Carry out maintenance, repair, modification and inspection work on all aircraft armament systems and equipment
• Prepare aircraft armament and remedy malfunctions of aircraft weapon systems
• Perform tasks related to air operations, such as ensuring flight preparation, conducting intermediate checks and restoring systems
• Ensure refuelling and testing of ammunition for all types of aircraft
• Guarantee maintenance of systems, tools and test equipment

What makes you unique

• Technical/mechanical vocational training (CFC) and/or knowledge in weapons technology is an asset; generalist profile with professional experience and affinity for aviation
• Category B driving licence required, C and E an asset; good IT skills (MS Office / SAP) desired
• Responsible, autonomous, precise and team- and customer-oriented working method
• Good physical and mental resilience; positive result of security clearance for personnel required
• Knowledge of a second official language and good English skills (level B1) desired

The Operations Command (cdmt Op) is responsible for all operations and military engagements of the Swiss Army. The cdmt Op includes the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Centre, the Special Forces Command as well as the Military Police. About 40% of the approximately 2500 employees are employed in civilian roles, from engineers to analysts to aircraft mechanics. The Swiss Army employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and about 200 civilian professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland. It also ensures succession by training apprentices in more than 30 trades.
