ICT System Specialist

Tasks

Handling and coordination of incidents in daily operations
Management, creation and troubleshooting of backup processes
Support and management of the printer landscape in SAP and WAMAS
Analysis and resolution of faults and alerts on servers of the Coop Group in Windows, Linux and AIX environments
Ensuring communication and coordination between technical departments and product managers
Performing maintenance work on weekends as well as taking on on-call duties
Monitoring, controlling and maintaining the Control-M job management

Practical experience in operating and supporting server environments under Windows, Linux and ideally AIX
Solid understanding of handling incidents, requests and problems in a structured operational environment according to ITIL
Knowledge of backup procedures, backup monitoring, error analysis and recovery processes
Experience in handling system alerts, monitoring messages as well as in technical initial and follow-up assessment
Experience with ticketing tools and in traceable technical documentation in daily operations
