As a Senior IT System Engineer, you keep systems stable, manage complexity and develop sustainable solutions. At BBT IT & Hosting, you take on a key role for secure, high-performance and economical services. You are close to customers, users and internal stakeholders, lead demanding infrastructure, cloud, hosting and migration projects professionally and strengthen the ICT team with your knowledge.

Your profile

• You have completed training or further education in computer science, business informatics or a comparable technical field
• You bring several years of experience in operation, support and further development of complex ICT infrastructures, ideally in the hosting or managed services environment
• You have experience in architecture design of server, network, cloud and security solutions
• You have experience in the professional management of infrastructure, cloud, hosting or transformation projects
• Cloud, infrastructure, security, service management and architecture are topics in which you move confidently
• You advise customers and stakeholders competently and understand how to translate complex issues into sustainable solutions
• You communicate well in English at B1/B2 level and continuously develop your professional skills

You connect operation, architecture, customer needs and further development. With your expertise and your holistic view, you create solutions that work in the long term and bring added value in everyday life.

• You ensure that our ICT, cloud and hosting services are operated stably, securely and economically
• You further develop system, cloud and platform landscapes and create the basis for reliable and future-proof services
• You design sustainable solution architectures and develop technical standards that promote quality, security and standardisation
• You professionally lead demanding infrastructure, cloud, hosting and migration projects and successfully bring together different requirements
• You advise customers, users and internal stakeholders on complex technical issues and develop appropriate solutions
• You drive the continuous improvement of service quality, operational security and operational processes and contribute your know-how in security and data protection topics
• You actively share your knowledge within the team and help shape the technological development of our ICT landscape
