About the job
What to expect
- You will relieve the team lead in the operational day-to-day business and take over their deputy role as well as professional responsibility for around 15 employees
- You will work about 80% operationally in goods receipt and ensure efficient unloading, booking in the system (Navision) and storage using a forklift
- You will coordinate the goods receipt of around 60 trucks and up to 900 pallets per day together with your team and ensure a smooth process at the ramps
- You will take over ramp management as well as forward-looking deployment and resource planning in daily operations
- You will plan and coordinate container deliveries taking into account storage capacities
- You will work closely with purchasing, logistics planning and quality assurance and ensure good information flow
- You will develop your team through coaching on the job, promote collaboration and create a dynamic environment with continuous improvements
What you bring
- You have experience in logistics, ideally with training as a logistics specialist EFZ
- You hold a valid forklift licence and work confidently with industrial trucks
- You communicate confidently in German (at least B1, ideally B2) both spoken and written
- You enjoy working operationally and actively pitch in during daily business
- You take responsibility and want to develop professionally towards team leadership
- You are familiar with IT systems such as MS Office (Outlook) and warehouse management systems
- You work reliably, in a structured manner and have no criminal record
- You work during the day from 07:00 to 17:00 in a well-coordinated team of around 16 employees in a dynamic logistics environment
