The Hospital Network AR
The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden, with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the MTTB department under the direction of Ms Jana Schmid, we are seeking immediately or by arrangement a qualified nurse or health specialist in haemodialysis for a workload of 60%.
Your tasks
- Independent execution of dialysis treatments in the dialysis department
- Ensuring nursing quality and interdisciplinary collaboration with all professional groups to guarantee optimal patient care
- Careful, complete and comprehensible management of nursing documentation and responsibility for the execution of medical orders
- You have a flair for medical-technical devices
- You possess a high awareness of quality
Your profile
- Training as a qualified nurse or health specialist, with experience in an acute hospital, in dialysis or in a nephrology department
- Several years of professional experience in the field of dialysis
- Empathy, strong communication skills and enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration
- Passion for patient-centred, professional nursing
- Empathy in dealing with patients as well as high personal responsibility
- Good PC user skills, especially in MS Office
- Team spirit and flexibility
