About the job
The School of Computer Science is the newest department at the University of St.Gallen. We teach and research cutting-edge topics in computer science and place them in an entrepreneurial context.
Your Responsibilities
- In this role, you are the central contact person for lecturers, prospective students, students, and university administration regarding matters of the computer science programmes at Bachelor and Doctoral levels.
- You contribute to the design and further development of our programmes on a formal, organisational, and content level, e.g. study regulations, learning objectives, professional profiles, or achievements of learning.
- You ensure the proper operation of the programmes in accordance with the relevant regulations and guidelines of the university.
- You are part of a small team and work closely with the programme director for our Master’s programme as well as with the academic programme management.
- You are involved in creating materials about the programme, e.g. flyers, texts for brochures, press releases, or advertisements, and assist with maintaining the website.
- You expand and maintain our network with secondary schools to engage school leavers and participate in the conception and implementation of other marketing/advertising measures for the Bachelor’s programme.
Your Profile
- A successfully completed university degree is a prerequisite.
- Extensive professional experience and comprehensive organisational skills are expected.
- Further training in educational management or pedagogy is desirable.
- Very good German and English skills (level C1) in spoken and written form are a must.
