Main tasks
- Support of insurance companies regarding SST aspects, answering SST inquiries
- Collaboration in the continuous development and maintenance of SST standard models and corresponding supervisory tools (including IT implementations) for insurance supervision
- Support of banks and securities firms regarding the calculation of minimum own funds and answering related inquiries
- Further development of instruments for data-based and semi-automated supervision for banks and insurance companies
- Data analysis and visualisation with a focus on quantitative analyses
Profile
- University degree with a master’s qualification, preferably in mathematics, economics, statistics or physics, and knowledge in financial mathematics
- 2-5 years of professional experience in quantitative risk management at insurers or banks; knowledge of market or (counterparty) credit risks is an advantage
- Experience with SST is desirable
- Very good knowledge of R and SQL; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage
- Experience in data processing, analysis and target group-appropriate preparation as well as independent, systematic and networked working methods
- German or French language skills (C2) as well as good knowledge of the other language (B2) and good English skills (B2)
