Arbon Energie AG in Arbon is a progressive, service- and future-oriented energy supply company with 33 employees. As a regionally leading company, we operate in the areas of electricity, water, local heating, and in the modern fibre optic network.
For the position of Specialist Engineer Power Grid, we are looking for a flexible, resilient individual.

Your tasks

• Planning and designing low and medium voltage projects – from the initial idea to the execution-ready project
• Participation in strategic network and target network planning and the long-term development of the power and communication network
• Planning of transformer stations, medium voltage systems, distribution cabinets and cable systems
• Project management of network projects - especially medium voltage, station construction as well as public lighting with responsibility for costs, deadlines and quality
• Technical coordination of project participants and support of projects until handover to operations
• Planning of own fibre optic expansions as well as management of the position for updating and network documentation

With your technical understanding, network construction experience and independent working style, you make an important contribution to the safe and future-oriented development of our network infrastructure.

Our expectations

• Technical basic training, preferably as a network electrician EFZ, electrical installer EFZ, electrical planner EFZ or comparable; higher technical education is an advantage
• Several years of experience in the electrical distribution network, ideally in network construction as well as in planning or implementation of low and medium voltage systems
• Knowledge in power grid construction, medium voltage systems and network documentation; project management and fibre optic knowledge are advantageous
• Independent, structured and reliable working style, technical and networked thinking, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
