The Cerebrovascular Unit was the first certified unit in French-speaking Switzerland. Its specialised and multidisciplinary team welcomes this type of patient 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Community Health and Care Assistant at 80%
Your duties
- Support and independently assist the patient in their daily life activities according to their needs, habits and values
- Collaborate in data collection and perceive the health potential and resources of patients and their relatives, value their maintenance and encourage their development
- Respect the established care plan, as well as the criteria of safety, effectiveness, economy and comfort of the persons
- Collaborate with the nurse in the care of stable patients
- Support patients and their relatives in crisis and end-of-life situations
- Contribute to improving the quality of care
- Maintain order and hygiene in the patients’ environment and in the unit in general
- Ensure the management of equipment
- Contribute, with the nurse, to initiating, monitoring and closing patient data in electronic care records
Your profile
- Holder of an ASSC Federal Certificate of Competence
- Experience in acute care
- Experience in neurology is an asset
- Knowledge of hospital hygiene rules
- Good knowledge of common office software tools
