The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. The pediatrics department is medically composed of 11 assistants, 7 chief residents, and 10 senior physicians.
Our department stands out for its cutting-edge activity and offers the following services:
- an obstetrics unit with more than 1800 deliveries per year, with an IIB accreditation of the maternity ward planned by the end of this year
- a fetal medicine unit
- an outpatient and inpatient gynecology unit offering all oncological and benign operations, and robotic surgery by the end of the year
- a breast center in the process of accreditation and several other training opportunities
To complete its team, the gynecology-obstetrics department is looking for a:
Chief (Deputy) of Clinic M/F in Gynecology-Obstetrics at 100%
The main responsibilities of this position are
- Supervise, train, and oversee assistant physicians in patient care
- Proactively organize their work as well as the daily operation of the department
- Actively participate in the pre- and post-graduate training of the department and in the organizational activities of the assistant physicians' department
- Manage daily clinical activity under the supervision of a senior physician
- Participate in the on-call rotation
- Collaborate in the development of the gynecology-obstetrics department and new projects
We require
- a federal medical diploma or a diploma issued by an EU member state and recognized by the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO)
- a specialist ISFM title in gynecology-obstetrics or a recognized foreign title (MEBEKO)
