About the job
The Hotel Berchtold & B5 is an active and innovative enterprise with various gastronomic venues and a centrally located accommodation facility. The group includes the 3* Superior Hotel Berchtold, the well-known Berchtold Restaurant, the trendy and well-frequented bar "B5 to be", the Bistro B5 and the shop B5 to go.
To complement our team at Hotel Berchtold, we are looking from 01.10.2026 or by arrangement for a creative and proactive leader personality as:

Your main tasks
- Main responsibility for competent guest reception and care, reservation and billing, advice and sales, accounts receivable and dunning
- Supervision of the reception
- General reception duties such as writing offers, confirmations, invoices and lunch menus
- Correspondence with hotel guests and companies in German, French and English
- Acceptance and coordination of seminars / banquets from 2 to 40 people
- Training of reception staff / responsible for training
- Monitoring and maintaining reception quality standards
- Execution and control of daily and monthly closings
- Creating duty rosters
- Cross-team support to ensure smooth hotel operations
Your profile
- Commercial training (EFZ) or equivalent training in the field of hospitality/reception.
- Many years of professional experience at the reception, leadership experience an advantage
- Networked thinking, solution orientation and excellent organisational talent
- Ability for positive, motivating and goal-oriented staff management
- Service orientation as well as warmth and joy in guest contact
- Quality awareness, reliability, flexibility and resilience
- Confident and negotiation-safe German, English and French in spoken and written form
- Proficient use of MS Office programmes as well as the hotel software Protel an advantage
