The State Chancellery advises and supports the Government Council and the Presidency in fulfilling government tasks. It acts as an interface between the directorates and provides services as a staff unit to ensure the smooth functioning of the Government Council as a collegial authority.
The staff of the State Chancellery combines important internal services such as human resources, finance, and IT.
To strengthen our ICT team, we are looking for a personality as a Business Information Systems Specialist, 80-100%.
Your tasks
- Analyse and manage existing business processes, model new or optimised processes, and gather related requirements.
- Collaborate on further developments in the ICT environment in cooperation with the specialist departments.
- Create concepts and implement them within projects in collaboration with internal units or external service providers.
- Lead and implement projects for the renewal of existing services and specialist applications.
- Take responsibility for the technical operation and updating of specialist applications.
- Support and take on tasks in providing and ensuring internal support services.
- Assume deputising roles and tasks in cantonal specialist committees and projects.
Your profile
- Higher education degree at tertiary level in Business Information Systems or a related field, plus several years of project management experience.
- Analytical skills and enjoyment of an environment requiring a high degree of professionalism and independence.
- Ability to understand technical issues and their impacts holistically.
- Implementation-oriented, structured, and communicative personality with an IT flair.
- Professionally competent and flexible personality with a broad range of interests and areas of deployment, enjoying diverse tasks and topics.
- Experience in business analysis or process management.
- Further training in business analysis, process management, and/or project management, preferably according to the Hermes method, is desirable.
- Several years of experience in the public sector are an advantage.
- Very good oral and written German skills.
