Job Description
For our production site in Monthey, we are looking for a CFC polymechanic apprentice!
The first two years of practical courses will take place at the Intercantonal Professional School of Chemistry in Monthey. The last two years will be at Syngenta.
During the apprenticeship, the apprentice will machine parts, manufacture tools and devices in metal or other materials. Tasks include preventive maintenance, machine overhauls, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliability of industrial equipment.
More specifically:
- List the necessary materials and supplies
- Estimate the time required for production
- Manufacture the various parts of a prototype
- Assemble and check the operation
- Write the system’s user manual
- Check the quality of produced parts
- Verify the installation
- Maintain and repair machines and equipment
