In this versatile development role, you are responsible for planning, executing, and further developing demanding test and validation processes for innovative products. You analyse physical properties, evaluate test results, and support various departments with technical questions throughout the entire product lifecycle. With your analytical thinking and practical working style, you make an important contribution to product optimisation, quality assurance, and the successful market launch of new solutions.
Responsibilities:
Planning, execution, and continuous optimisation of physical tests for product developments, quality assurance, and technical analyses in customer and competitive environments
Definition of test parameters, development of suitable test procedures, as well as professional evaluation, interpretation, and documentation of test results
Presentation of technical findings and derivation of improvement measures for development and production processes
Technical support of existing test rigs as well as design, construction, and further development of new test and measurement systems
Validation and optimisation of test methods to ensure meaningful and reproducible results
Execution of technical calculations and application-specific designs, for example in the area of drive components and belt systems
Support of internal companies through technical training, knowledge transfer, and accompaniment of field trials
Technical advice to sales, customer service, and customers on specific applications and questions
Support of production and manufacturing technology with technical challenges as well as the introduction and further development of products
Qualifications:
Completed university degree as a Dipl.-Ing. Mechanical Engineering, mechanical engineer, or comparable technical education
Professional experience as a test engineer, development engineer, or application engineer in a technical development environment is advantageous
Knowledge in testing technology, measurement methods, and physical test procedures, ideally in the field of conveyor and drive technology
Understanding of the relationships between material properties, design, and technical product features
Experience with lifetime tests, reliability tests, and laboratory experiments is desirable
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style with high personal responsibility
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and customer contact
Good English skills for technical coordination in an international environment
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
