Tasks
The Rüegsau schools run two special support classes on behalf of the Brandis region. For secondary level I, we are looking for a teacher due to the retirement of the current post holder, who will cover the second part of the subjects alongside the class teacher.
In the special support class, work is usually done individually and with support plans. The class size is a maximum of 14 children (currently 9 young people) and is managed as a multi-age class. The affected class consists of grades 7 to 9.
For school events, camps and school development, the special support class of secondary level I is assigned to the regular classes. This also applies to personnel management.
The following subjects and lessons are available:
- German
- NMG in the areas of ERG, NT/RZG, WAH
- Mathematics
- Physical Education
The following subjects can be added by arrangement if interested:
- French
- English
- TTG
- Music
- BG
- M+I
- IVE
- extended support (eU)
You will participate in school events, conferences and internal working group meetings according to the professional mandate.
You will accompany the class on their exciting journey through secondary level I, in career choice, at school events, camps, trips and the subjects assigned to you in teaching.
The exact choice of subjects and number of lessons would be discussed with you in the interview, taking into account your expectations, profile and wishes in the planning.
As many lessons as possible in the class (presence) support the relationship with the pupils, class management and the accompaniment of the special support class. A good teacher-pupil relationship leads to a supportive learning environment and supports learning success.
For this reason, we are not looking for a specialist in a few subjects, but a teacher who feels confident at the special support level in various subjects and who enjoys investing in relationship and support work with pupils and their parents.
