Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an automation technician for the development and implementation of customised PLC and door control systems. Our client develops and realises individual industrial door systems including drive, control, assembly, and service for demanding applications. The company combines engineering, manufacturing, and modern automation and offers a technically versatile environment with development opportunities and varied projects.
Responsibilities:
Design and programming of customised PLC controls for door systems
Creation of electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and cable plans
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and connection documents
Execution of commissioning and functional tests of door controls
Analysis and troubleshooting of electrical and control system faults
Support with repair orders and technical clarifications on site
Participation in site meetings as well as technical support during assembly work
Collaboration in the development and optimisation of new control and automation solutions
Qualifications:
Completed training as an automation technician EFZ or comparable electrical training
Professional experience in PLC technology, control technology or automation
Good knowledge of E-CAD, electrical schematics and technical documentation
Experience with commissioning, troubleshooting and electrical controls
Good German language skills; French or English skills are an advantage
