Responsibilities:
You ensure the reliable operation of our Oracle databases and continuously develop the platform.
You monitor databases, analyse faults, and take care of backup, recovery, performance, and availability.
You independently plan and carry out patches, upgrades, migrations, and other technical changes.
You automate recurring tasks and further develop our operational processes with Shell, Python or Ansible.
You work closely with development, application management, and infrastructure and support database-related architecture and operational issues.
Qualifications:
You have completed training or studies in the IT field or have a comparable qualification.
You bring several years of practical experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
You are familiar with Oracle Database, SQL, RMAN, and common methods for performance analysis and troubleshooting.
Ideally, you have experience with Data Guard, RAC, Linux, and high availability concepts.
You work analytically, independently, and solution-oriented and enjoy continuously optimising database environments.
