The Fribourg Correctional Facility (the institution) consolidates the enforcement facilities of the Canton of Fribourg. It has the legal form of a public-law institution with its own legal personality. It is administratively assigned to the Directorate of Security, Justice and Sport and is subject to the supervisory authority of the State Council. The institution ensures the supervision, accommodation, care and treatment of prisoners in its custody and contributes to the implementation of the objectives for the enforcement of custodial sentences and measures.

Your tasks
On a 3-month fixed-term contract
- On-call duty and constant supervision of detainees taking into account the different detention regimes
- Reception of the detention facility (entries and exits, cameras)
- Supervising detainees during maintenance and renovation work
- Accompanying and supporting detainees on their way to a crime-free life
- Ensuring discipline, order and security among detainees
Desired profile
- Federal VET diploma or an equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience
- Possession of the federal specialist certificate for prison officers is an advantage
- Good physical and mental fitness, flexibility and resilience
- Social skills, communication skills and conflict management
- Willingness to work shifts (irregular working hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays)
- Willingness to work outside working hours in cases of force majeure
- Good knowledge of IT tools (MS Office)
- Impeccable character
- Fluency in German or French with good knowledge of the other language
