- Deployment in the Optics specialist group for various maintenance and adjustment tasks
- Maintenance and adjustment work on binoculars of the Swiss Army
- Maintenance and adjustment work on optical and optronic instruments of the Swiss Army
- Assistance with incoming and outgoing inspections of army equipment
- Assistance with various projects such as material provision of new equipment
- Conducting condition checks on army equipment on site at LBA operations
- Production of visual aids for protective masks
- Operation of the US system including bonding of lenses
- Production of visual aids for protective and specialised glasses
What you bring with you
- Completed technical training, ideally in the field of optics, optronics, precision mechanics, mechatronics or comparable
- Professional experience in the maintenance, adjustment or servicing of optical or technical devices
- Experience in handling optical and/or optronic instruments is an advantage
- Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of precise work
- Skill in handling precision mechanical components and tools
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Willingness to work with army equipment and comply with corresponding quality and safety requirements
