About the job
What is my role?
You monitor national and international procurement markets, identify opportunities early and then purchase when quantity, price and demand align. You conduct supplier negotiations convincingly, secure attractive terms and further develop sustainable partnerships. In doing so, you proactively manage quantities, stock coverage and availability with regard to demand, turnover and capital commitment. You coordinate logistics across the group, consolidate transports and storage capacities, thereby leveraging synergies within the network. As a member of the management team, you advise farmers, contractors and LANDI knowledgeably and reliably with a clear understanding of their business. You translate market movements and customer needs into concrete purchasing and management decisions.
What do I need to be successful?
You understand the needs of agriculture and ideally have an established agricultural network. You enjoy purchasing, have a good sense of markets and timing, and the courage to make well-founded decisions. You argue clearly, act entrepreneurially and consistently bring negotiations to a close. You combine numerical understanding and structured working with pragmatic implementation strength. Personal responsibility, resilience, integrity and loyalty are a matter of course for you. You have a degree as an Agronomist ETH/FH or a comparable higher education, alternatively Agrotechnician HF or Agricultural Merchant HF with several years of experience in agricultural trade.
What are my benefits?
You take on an exciting key role as a member of senior management, where your decisions directly impact assortments, prices and availability. You enjoy a great deal of personal responsibility in a dynamic market environment with short communication channels and varied tasks. A motivated team supports you, shares knowledge and wants to progress together. You benefit from ideal conditions such as a company car and a smartphone for private use as well as attractive fringe benefits such as a 10% discount in all sales outlets.
