As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner, Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are immediately seeking a motivated and committed Operator Reagents Operations for a temporary assignment of 1 year, with the option to extend.
Roche Diagnostics Sensor & Cartridge (S&C) Operations Rotkreuz consists of experts in the manufacture and testing of electrochemical electrodes, thick-film sensor cartridges, and calibration and cleaning fluids for blood gas analysis devices.
Roche's blood gas and electrolyte systems (BG&E) are groundbreaking diagnostic systems that deliver fast and reliable results crucial for patient well-being. They are used in intensive care units, emergency rooms, neonatal wards, and operating theatres.
At Fluid Pack Assembly, up to 80,000 cartridges with various buffer and calibration solutions are produced annually. The production team comprises around 25 people, including two shift leaders and two team leaders. As an Operator Reagents Operations, you will carry out the assembly and testing of the fluid packs on semi-automatic machines.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Independent operation, monitoring, and supervision of production equipment
- Timely and high-quality assembly of components and cobas b123 Fluid Pack cartridges
- Working in a 2-shift operation
- Support with cleaning tasks, troubleshooting, and maintenance work
- Compliance with all GMP, quality, and hygiene regulations as well as occupational safety guidelines in all listed activities
- Support with inventory, scrapping, bookings, and incoming goods inspections
- Taking on additional tasks assigned by shift management and team leads
- Continuous optimisation of workflows to improve quality and efficiency
Must-Haves
- Completed vocational training
- Very good German language skills (at least level B2)
- Quick comprehension as well as reliable and precise working methods
- Motivated, cheerful, and service-oriented personality
- Communicative, open, team-oriented, and implementation-strong
- Great interest in the entire production chain from start to finish
