The largest outdoor pool in the city of Zurich is waiting for you! At the Mythenquai beach pool, up to 10,000 guests enjoy sun, lake, and summer vibes on hot days – and we make sure they also get culinary delights. With our healthy enjoyment, we inspire young and old right by the water – fresh, warm-hearted, and with a touch of Hiltl wow. As Head of Kitchen & Buffet, you take responsibility for production, buffet, and team – and together with management, you ensure that quality, freshness, and efficiency remain at the highest level every day.

From May, we will take over the gastronomy at the Mythenquai pool. To prepare, you will start in April in our Hiltl restaurants. For the Head of Kitchen & Buffet at the beach, we are looking for motivated hosts with heart, organizational talent, and enthusiasm for the summer season.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You bear overall responsibility for kitchen and buffet
• You lead, coach, and plan the kitchen team – fairly, clearly, and motivatingly
• You promote, support, and develop the buffet team so that everyone shines together
• In close exchange with management & deputies, you ensure that processes, quality, and efficiency are right
• You keep an eye on materials and goods – including orders and controls
• You ensure that processes, recipes, and standards are implemented – reliably and structured
• Hygiene and quality are a given for you – HACCP? You know it by heart

WHAT YOU BRING

• You are fully available from April to October – ideally without or with only short holidays
• A completed EFZ vocational training in gastronomy is part of your background
• At least 1 year of professional experience – initial leadership experience is a plus but not a must
• Good German and English skills – you feel comfortable communicating with guests and the team
• Flexibility and resilience – because we are a seasonal business and weather-dependent
• You lead with heart, efficiency, and reliability – and enjoy developing yourself further
• You love vegetarian and vegan cuisine – or are curious and eager to learn
