We are looking for an experienced and independent

IT / System Engineer 100% (m/f/d)

We are seeking a professional with practical experience for this position. You are enthusiastic and motivated to support our company and take it a step further through your independent and high-quality way of working.

What you will achieve with us

• Setup, operation and maintenance of VPN connections (OpenSense/Fortinet) for secure communication with our customers
• Analysis and resolution of network and VPN faults in direct collaboration with customers
• Design and implementation of networks within customer environments
• Installation and commissioning of our software via remote maintenance or on-site at the customer
• Documentation of the implemented network and VPN setups
• Participation in the continuous improvement of our support processes
• Global collaboration with remote support and software teams
• Building and maintaining internal test networks

What you bring with you

• Diploma as a technician HF in computer science or electrical engineering
• Solid experience with VPN technologies, ideally IPSec/OpenVPN
• Good knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, routing, firewall)
• Experience with Windows server environments and general IT infrastructures
• Linux knowledge is an advantage
• Experience in cybersecurity topics is a plus
• Team spirit, flexibility and an independent way of working
• Customer-oriented thinking combined with solution-oriented action
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written; additional foreign languages are an advantage
