Your Tasks and Perspectives
- Participation in the further development, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the extensive Network Security Platform for more than 20,000 connected devices in the canton of St. Gallen
- Monitoring, analyzing, evaluating, and taking measures in case of attacks, incidents, or commissioning of new devices or applications
- 2nd level support in the areas of incident, problem, and change management, as well as participation in maintenance work and on-call service
- Collaboration in SOC/SIEM and vulnerability management
- Opportunities for further training for professional and personal development
What You Bring to This Position
- Completed IT education, preferably with advanced technical training
- Several years of professional experience as a network security specialist (vulnerability management, firewall, application publishing, and malware protection)
- Solid knowledge of next-generation firewalls, ideally with a focus on Cisco or Checkpoint
- Experience in using programming and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
- High motivation to continuously deepen knowledge in complex network systems and future trends in network security technology
- Independent, precise, and customer-oriented working style with confident oral and written communication in German and English
