The team brings together experienced professionals working 24/7 in specialised units – adult acute psychiatry, psychogeriatrics, addiction medicine and psychosocial rehabilitation – offering integrated and individualised care in open or closed environments according to needs. It also carries out liaison and training missions recognised by the ISFM, contributing to the quality of care and the training of psychiatrists.

Specialist Doctor in Psychiatry and Addiction Psychotherapy (M/F)
Job Description
- Intervene in the hospitalisation of persons presenting addiction-related disorders requiring psychiatric care.
- Provide consultations and specialised addiction care within the multidisciplinary team.
- Be a driving force in the development of addiction medicine within the Mental Health Division by contributing to projects and the development of an integrated care system ensuring high standards and comprehensive management of addiction issues.
- Actively participate in the development of care projects and continuous improvement of addiction practices within the establishment.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualised care plans adapted to persons affected by addictions.
- Establish and maintain strong professional links with general practitioners and network partners to promote smooth collaboration and attentive follow-up of supported persons.
Qualifications
- You have advanced training in psychiatry and addiction psychotherapy. You also hold the FMH specialist title (or equivalent). You master French at a minimum C1 level.
- You have confirmed experience in clinical psychiatry, ideally in a hospital setting. Experience in an academic environment would also be appreciated.
- You possess strong skills in listening, analysis and decision-making. Your practical and theoretical expertise allows you to manage complex and highly emotional situations with ease. You work autonomously while respecting protocols, clinical standards and the establishment’s values.
- You appreciate working within a multidisciplinary team and communicate easily with different members of the care network. Your collaborative spirit is a real asset to contribute to the collective enrichment of the psychiatry and addiction service.
- You demonstrate a strong sense of ethics, confidentiality and respect. Your benevolent and empathetic attitude allows you to create a safe environment, fostering the therapeutic alliance essential in the care of persons affected by addictions.
