Reporting to the Power Electronics Engineering Manager, you’ll be part of a team focused on delivering traction projects efficiently, and with high quality through close collaboration, technical excellence, and inclusivity. Ready for the journey?
Key Responsibilities:
Advanced Systems Engineering: Design traction power electronics converter and energy storage systems (ESS), while ensuring their seamless integration within vehicles. Your work will align with customer needs, industry standards, and internal specifications.
Testing & Validation: Lead the specification, execution, analysis, and documentation of Type and Qualification tests to ensure robust system performance, focusing on traction converters and ESS for enhanced energy efficiency.
Technical leadership: Develop deep expertise in core power engineering competencies, components, or tools to provide technical guidance for your peers. Optimize design processes and customer solutions independently or by collaborating in cross-functional specialist teams.
Product Standardization: Contribute to the evolution of our traction product families through standardisation, and continuous improvements. Leverage your expertise to drive innovation in the integration of traction converters with ESS.
Qualifications for the role:
Power Electronics Expertise: A qualified Power Electronics/Electrical Engineer with a solid background in power electronics design and engineering. Experience with traction converters and energy storage systems is an advantage.
Curiosity & Continuous Learning: Eager to continuously expand technical expertise, drive continuous improvement, share knowledge with the team, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

You report to the Engineering Manager Power Electronics and are part of a team focused on the efficient and high-quality implementation of traction projects – through close collaboration, technical excellence and inclusion. Ready for the journey?
Main tasks:
Advanced Systems Engineering: Development of power electronics converters and energy storage systems (ESS) for traction applications as well as ensuring their seamless integration into vehicles. Your work is oriented towards customer requirements, industry standards and internal specifications.
Testing & Validation: Leading the specification, execution, analysis and documentation of type and qualification tests to ensure robust system performance – focusing on traction converters and ESS for improved energy efficiency.
Technical Leadership: Building deep expertise in core power engineering competencies, components or tools to support your colleagues technically. Optimising design processes and customer solutions – independently or in cross-functional specialist teams.
Product Standardisation: Contributing to the further development of our traction product families through standardisation and continuous improvement. Use your expertise to drive innovation in the integration of traction converters with ESS.
Requirements:
Expertise in Power Electronics: Qualified engineer in power electronics / electrical engineering with a solid background in design and engineering. Experience with traction converters and energy storage systems is an advantage.
Curiosity & Continuous Learning: Enthusiasm for continuously expanding technical expertise, promoting continuous improvement and sharing knowledge within the team – for a culture of growth and collaboration.
