The Swiss Air-Rescue Rega provides professional medical assistance from the air around the clock to patients in Switzerland and worldwide. It is a non-profit and private foundation supported by more than 3.6 million patrons. To complement our crew at the helicopter base Zweisimmen/BE, we are looking for a SGNOR emergency physician (m/f) with a 40% workload, limited to two years, starting July 1, 2026.
These activities will inspire you
- Situational medical care of patients at the accident site in cooperation with the paramedic
- Care of patients during primary and secondary missions as well as the necessary preparations for the missions
- Assistance in the preparation or reconditioning of rescue equipment
This is what sets you apart
- Swiss state examination or equivalent recognized diploma
- Specialist title in anesthesiology FMH and/or intensive care medicine FMH or equivalent
- Certificate in preclinical emergency medicine / emergency physician (SGNOR / SSMUS)
- Attended mountain medicine courses (SGGM / SSMM)
- Passed PHTLS course
- Completed course in preclinical emergency sonography (SGNOR) or comparable recognized course
- Native German speaker and good understanding of French
- Physical and mental resilience for air rescue missions as well as previous Rega rotation
