The Asylum Department of the City of Winterthur is responsible for supporting and assisting people in the asylum sector. To strengthen our team in client accounting, we are looking for a committed individual as a Debt Collection Clerk from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement. In this role, you will take on a variety of tasks in the area of debt collection and contribute to the professional handling of administrative processes with your careful and reliable working style.
Your Tasks
- Management of rental deposit accounts and guarantee declarations
- Conducting debt collection for debtors with an existing legal title
- Management and processing of KVG loss certificates
- Monitoring outstanding claims as well as carrying out the necessary administrative clarifications and correspondence
- Cooperation with debt enforcement offices, clients, as well as internal and external bodies
Your Profile
- Commercial training is essential, ideally supplemented by further training in debt collection or the Swiss Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG)
- Professional experience in debt collection or accounts receivable accounting
- Numerical flair and confident German language skills
- Good user knowledge of MS Office and ideally KLIB
- Committed, team-oriented personality with a service-oriented mindset and approach
- Understanding and sensitivity in dealing with people from the asylum sector
