Specialist Doctor in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy

CONTACT Addiction Treatment is the competence centre for medical and psychosocial treatment of opioid and other substance-related dependencies. The interdisciplinary team consists of staff from the professions of medicine, psychology, social work and administration.

You have the possibility of employment between 20% and 80%.
Start date by arrangement.

Your tasks are:

• outpatient treatment of people with substance-related addiction problems at the Bern and Langenthal locations; psychotherapeutic interventions if required
• conducting diagnostic assessments and indication interviews
• prescription of substitution and other medications
• supporting staff with specific medical and psychiatric questions
• implementation of outpatient measures

You bring with you:

• specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy (or equivalent foreign title)
• clinical and/or outpatient professional experience
• professional experience in the Swiss healthcare system is an advantage
• very good German skills; good spoken French skills are an advantage
