Together with our Head of Payroll and another payroll specialist, you form a small, well-coordinated team with great expertise. Together you are responsible for the professional payroll processing of our 800 employees of the political municipality, the two church communities, and the Zweckverband ARA. A varied role awaits you as
Payroll Specialist 50% – 60%
Your tasks
- Independent processing of the monthly payroll runs
- Support and handling of social insurances and withholding tax
- Assistance with year-end tasks and reconciliations
- Processing of entries, exits, and changes
- Advising employees and managers on questions regarding salary, social insurances, and withholding taxes
- Participation in the further development and digitalisation of our payroll processes
Your profile
- Commercial basic training
- Several years of professional experience in payroll, ideally in a public administration
- Further training in social insurances or payroll is an advantage
- Good IT user skills, ideally experience with Abacus
- A structured, precise, and independent way of working
- Enjoyment in contact with people as well as a high degree of discretion and sense of responsibility
