Team and Responsibilities
Become part of BLACKROLL®️ and develop YouTube into a scalable growth channel. In this role, you are responsible for the channel's performance end-to-end – from CTR and retention to content positioning – and increase reach, subscribers, and impact through data-driven optimization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You are responsible for the YouTube channel performance end-to-end, including growth of subscribers, watch time, CTR, and retention.
- You develop and manage a data-driven YouTube growth strategy based on experiments, insights, and clear audience positioning.
- You optimize titles and thumbnails (packaging), conduct tests, and continuously develop them further.
- You analyze performance data (e.g., retention, traffic sources, user behavior) and derive concrete measures for optimization.
- You improve video structure, hooks, and storytelling to sustainably increase watch time and viewer retention, and develop scalable content formats.
- You are responsible for publishing and SEO, including metadata and playlist structure, as well as close collaboration with creative, education, brand, and SEO teams.
Your Profile
- You have solid experience in YouTube management and understand relevant performance KPIs such as CTR, watch time, retention, and subscriber growth.
- You think data-driven and strategically and have experience developing growth strategies based on analyses, tests, and audience understanding.
- You have a strong sense for content packaging, especially for titles, thumbnails, and their continuous optimization.
- You possess analytical skills and can translate performance data (retention curves, traffic sources, user behavior) into concrete optimization measures.
- You have a good understanding of storytelling, video structure, and scalable content formats that enable sustainable growth.
- You bring interest and understanding of topics such as recovery, movement, and health and enjoy working closely with internal teams (education, brand, production) in an international environment.
- You speak fluent German and English
