Located in a beautiful, tree-lined and peaceful setting, the MRPS is both a medico-social and residential institution. It is a living space for seniors. Founded in 1849, it has more than 300 employees and accommodates dependent elderly people (220 in EMS) and independent ones (140 in residences). To complete our multidisciplinary team, we are looking for the following profile for our establishment:
Qualified Nursing Assistant
(New Position Creation)
MISSION:
The Qualified Nursing Assistant contributes to providing appropriate care to elderly people living in EMS. They contribute through their professional skills and observations to the care process and the personalised support plan for each resident.
They are a promoter of the institution’s project, and their commitment fosters the integration, adaptation and well-being of residents with respect, kindness and dignity.
The main activities are carried out under the delegation of nursing staff:
- Provide basic, hygiene and comfort care to residents respecting the care plan, maintaining their autonomy and preserved abilities.
- Provide and deliver all necessary assistance enabling residents to carry out daily life activities, to fulfil themselves through recreational, playful and/or relearning activities.
- Participate through observation, communication and written reports in the implementation and evaluation of the personalised support plan for each resident.
• Support, as part of a multidisciplinary team, the resident and their relatives with end-of-life and palliative care, within the framework of palliative approach and last days care
- Speak with the resident and/or their relatives with respect and dignity.
- Ensure the cleaning of the residents’ immediate environment in compliance with hygiene rules.
- Ensure the maintenance of equipment, furniture and administrative and logistical activities within the care unit.
- Provide professional supervision to trainees, apprentices, and during the integration period of peers.
TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Qualified nursing assistant training or equivalent qualification
- Experience in geriatrics or psychogeriatrics is desirable
- Proficiency in common office software and DIR-SADIES or ease with computer learning.
- Oral and written mastery of the French language
