Tasks
What tasks await you as a Senior Cost Manager (m/f/d)?
- Overall responsibility for construction cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting of demanding data centre projects.
- Analysis of cost developments, risks, and opportunities as well as preparation of sound decision-making bases for project management.
- Management of tendering and awarding processes including bid evaluation, contract negotiations, and award recommendations.
- Ensuring transparent cost controlling by monitoring budgets, commitments, changes, and forecasts.
- Commercial evaluation of claims and project changes as well as support for change management.
- Conducting cost, market, and benchmark analyses to identify optimisation and saving potentials.
- Further development of cost management standards, processes, and tools as well as professional support and coordination within the project team.
Requirements
What do you bring as a Senior Cost Manager (m/f/d)?
- Completed studies in civil engineering, industrial engineering, quantity surveying, project management, building services engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in cost management, calculation/construction cost planning, quantity surveying, or construction/project management.
- Sound knowledge in cost planning, forecasting, tendering, awarding, and commercial contract management.
- Experience in change, claim, or contract management as well as handling cost management and reporting tools.
- Ideally experience in complex construction, infrastructure, industrial, or data centre projects.
- Strong analytical thinking, high affinity for numbers, and a strong cost and risk awareness.
- Independent and structured working style combined with convincing communication and negotiation skills.
- Very good German and English skills.
