The establishment has 240 acute care beds, a maternity ward, with about 1,500 births per year, and nearly 30,000 emergency consultations. We are looking for a:
Deputy Chief of Clinic in Intensive Care (M/F) at 80-100%
Start date: November 2025
YOU POSSESS
- A specialist title in anesthesia or internal medicine, Swiss or registered and fully recognized by MEBEKO.
- Clinical experience in intensive care (minimum 6 months)
- The ability to work autonomously while closely collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Availability to participate in on-call duties.
- Good command of French, both spoken and written, allowing for smooth communication with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
- An asset: prior knowledge of EHC and/or the healthcare system of the canton of Vaud.
YOUR OBJECTIVES
- Contribute to the quality and safety of care in intensive care, in a human-sized structure but with the challenges of a reference hospital.
- Actively participate in the supervision and training of assistant doctors as well as interdisciplinary colloquia.
- Collaborate in the continuous improvement of care protocols, in line with Swiss and international standards.
- Strengthen the link between the anesthesia, internal medicine, and intensive care units to ensure optimal continuity of treatments.
- Develop your skills in a training environment, recognized by ISFM, offering prospects for advancement within the hospital network.
