About the job

Teaching with a scientific focus is often a male domain – this is no different in plastics technology. "In our class of 20, there were only four girls," recalls Laura Pasquinelli. The 26-year-old works as a vocational trainer at the company Lapp Tec, which specialises in injection moulding, and has an apprenticeship position available for 2021. "Whether woman or man: what matters is that the motivation is right," says Pasquinelli, who places great value on harmony within her apprentice team. "Since I am still young myself, I can quite well feel the pulse." Even when subjects like physics and chemistry get complicated, she is there for her protégés.
