As an agile team member in the self-organized IT product team «School Administration», you are jointly responsible with your team colleagues for the proactive, continuous technical improvement and further development of the Campus Management System. This ensures that everyday study life becomes simpler, more transparent, and more efficient – for all involved.
This essentially includes:
- planning, implementation, and testing of releases and patches of the Campus Management System
- programming interfaces to surrounding systems and expanding the system
- clarification and transfer of customer requirements for technical implementation
- ensuring and monitoring the ongoing application operation of the Campus Management System
- handling and analyzing disruptions within the Campus Management System as well as coordinating error corrections in close coordination within ICT and
- operation and further development of .NET and web applications on Microsoft IIS
To successfully meet these demanding and versatile challenges, you need the following profile:
- Proven experience in application management
- Experience in C# /.NET / MS-SQL Server / IIS / software development as well as
- a completed computer science degree or a comparable qualification with several years of experience in managing a complex and heterogeneous IT infrastructure
- Experience in development with frontend frameworks such as Angular
- A strong interest in new technologies and a high willingness to familiarize yourself with them
- You approach complex technical issues with curiosity, perseverance, and systematic methods
- You use backlog refinements, daily standup meetings, and retrospectives not only routinely but also purposefully to establish open, effective collaboration
- You have professional standing, argue convincingly, and can clearly articulate complex topics
- In daily team life and customer contact, you remain factual and solution-oriented
- You work independently – your focus is on the team’s priority projects and you consistently advance topics, also in exchange with other teams
