What you'll be doing here
- Leading the integration of AI technologies into learning scenarios to foster learning and metacognitive skills.
- Conducting rigorous and impactful research, with opportunities to publish in top-tier journals and present at international conferences.
- Participating in project management, including coordination with an SNF-funded project.
- Contributing to the supervision of PhD students and shaping the next generation of scholars in this emerging field.
- Pursuing your own projects in the field of "Human-Centered AI Learning Systems" (e.g., Conversational Agents, Ethical AI, Large Language Models for Education, Writing Assistants, or others) and acquiring funding for an extended position/ independent research agenda.
What you'll bring with you
- A completed Ph.D. in a field relevant to the project, such as Computer Science, Educational Technology, Information Systems, HCI, or a related field.
- Experience in HCI research with expertise in either Natural Language Processing, Systems design, or behavioral studies.
- Exceptional skills in research, academic writing, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in English, with German skills (at B1)
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an international team setting.
