About the job
For our esteemed client, a leading medical network in Switzerland, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated postnatal care nurse for the holistic care of mother and child during the postnatal period (80-100%). In this responsible role, you will support families during a particularly formative phase of life with expertise, warmth and personalised care. You can expect a varied working day in a professional, supportive team – with plenty of scope for shaping your role, personal development and appreciative collaboration.
Your Tasks
- As a postnatal care nurse, you provide holistic and individually tailored care to mothers and newborns. You support women in their physical recovery and sensitively accompany them through the emotional processing of childbirth. In doing so, you strengthen them in their new role as mothers and guide families with expertise and empathy through the first important phase of parenthood.
- You work closely with midwives, doctors and other professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality care. In addition, you provide valuable information on infant care, breastfeeding support and handling the newborn – always adapted to the individual needs and questions of the parents. With your competent and calm manner, you create trust and orientation in this significant phase of life.
Our Requirements
- You hold a completed diploma as a nurse HF or FH; for foreign qualifications, recognised SRK accreditation is required. Ideally, you have already gained experience in acute care, especially in postnatal care or the gynaecological environment.
- With great empathy and strong teamwork skills, you care for mothers and newborns expertly and sensitively. You work in a structured, responsible manner and maintain an overview even in demanding situations. Thanks to your IT affinity, you are confident in using digital documentation and information systems. Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least B2) complete your profile.
Your Prospects
- You can further develop your expertise in a challenging and varied environment and actively contribute to the advancement of care.
- You will become part of an interdisciplinary and committed team characterised by collaboration and mutual support.
- Numerous training and continuing education opportunities await you to advance your professional development.
- Your commitment is highly valued, and you will be actively supported in your work so that you can fully concentrate on care and support.
