SQL Specialist (m/f/d)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Ensuring stable, highly available and high-performance database operations
• Implementation and further development of backup, recovery and disaster recovery strategies
• Identification and resolution of bottlenecks at CPU, memory, IO, blocking and deadlock levels
• Further development of database architectures, standards and operational processes
• Introduction and maintenance of monitoring, security and automation solutions
• 2nd/3rd level support for database-critical issues

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Completed IT training, a degree in information technology or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the administration and operation of Microsoft SQL Server environments
• Very good knowledge of SQL as well as a solid understanding of the SQL Server engine
• Experience in performance tuning, high availability, backup and recovery
• Know-how in monitoring, automation and scripting in the database environment
• Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style
• High quality and security awareness as well as pronounced personal responsibility
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
