ZurichYour Tasks
- You are responsible for psychotherapy and psychological counselling of persons with mental illnesses cared for by AOZ on behalf of the city.
- You provide individual psychotherapeutic work with clients in an outpatient setting (from short to long term).
- You undertake psychodiagnostic assessment (including transcultural anamnesis).
- You work closely with the case-managing agencies (internal/external), specialist offices, doctors as well as clinics and authorities.
- You clarify questions of the involved professionals in connection with mental health.
- You offer further training on mental disorders, communication and relationship building with mentally ill refugees as well as case discussions for other professionals.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (recognition PsyKo for foreign diplomas)
- Advanced psychotherapeutic training
- 1 – 2 years professional experience (ideally in a psychiatric clinic A, B or C)
- Interest in and experience with psychoanalytic and transcultural therapy approaches
- Interest in and knowledge of working with migrants
- Resilient, flexible, team-oriented and independent personality
- Ability for networked interdisciplinary collaboration

Your Salary
Your gross salary for a 100% workload is expected to be between 100,000 and 125,000 Swiss francs per year.
The exact salary depends on your education and professional experience. During the selection process, we will determine your salary according to our salary guidelines. Applicants who do not yet have the required knowledge or experience may be classified below the salary range in individual cases. Additionally, AOZ pays allowances for work at night and on Sundays. Further salary development depends on your performance and AOZ’s financial possibilities.
