Polymechanic EFZ - Focus on Swiss Screw-Cutting

For our client in the field of precision engineering, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an experienced and bilingual Polymechanic EFZ specialising in Swiss screw-cutting and long turning.

Your main tasks:

• Setting up and operating modern CNC long-turning machines (Swiss screw-cutting) for demanding series and prototype production.
• Programming, optimising and monitoring manufacturing processes directly at the machine as well as via CAM systems.
• Ensuring the quality and dimensional accuracy of the produced precision parts using the latest measuring instruments (self-inspection).
• Troubleshooting as well as performing maintenance and repair work on the equipment.
• Active participation in process optimisation and close collaboration with production management (also cross-functionally in the bilingual team).

Your profile:

• Completed apprenticeship as a Polymechanic EFZ
• Several years of solid professional experience in Swiss screw-cutting / CNC long turning
• You speak fluent German and French (bilingual) and can communicate effortlessly in both languages in technical daily work as well as within the team.
• High quality awareness, precise and independent working style as well as strong team spirit.
