About the job
As Assistant Executive Housekeeper, you support the professional management of the entire housekeeping department and, together with the Director of Housekeeping, ensure a smooth daily operation at the highest level, which also includes
- Supporting the Director of Housekeeping in daily operations and deputising in their absence
- Organising and supervising all cleaning work in guest rooms and public areas
- Leading the Floor Supervisor in daily business and ensuring consistent compliance with our quality standards according to LQA, SDA and internal ISO guidelines
- Planning and conducting department-relevant training, accompanying the implementation of content, and taking on the induction of new employees as well as the supervision of trainees
- Creating duty and holiday rosters, checking time recording in Eurotime, and planning staff deployment according to occupancy and incurred costs
- Coordinating orders, maintaining processes and documents in Consens, using Knowcross as a power user, and ensuring smooth cooperation with adjacent departments as well as the evening service
You have completed training in hotel management and bring experience in a leading position in housekeeping within 4- or 5-star hotels. Additionally, you bring
- Further training as a Housekeeping Manager with a federal certificate is an advantage
- Several years of leadership experience as a floor supervisor or in a comparable position in upscale hotels
- Sound knowledge of operational housekeeping processes as well as confidence in using Word, Excel and Outlook
- A structured, independent and responsible working style as well as a keen eye for detail
- A high level of quality awareness, initiative, assertiveness, teamwork and flexibility
- Very good German and English skills for collaboration in an international environment, and ideally further foreign languages
