Qualifications and Characteristics
- Completed technical basic training in an industrial environment (machine operator, mechanic, electrician, etc.) or basic craft training in timber construction (roofer, carpenter, etc.)
- Alternatively, at least 3 years of professional experience in a similar working environment
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form (level C1) and solid knowledge of MS Office
- Manual dexterity and quick comprehension when learning new tasks and processes
- Enjoy working in a team, bringing great independence and flexibility to work in a two-shift system
About the Job
As a production employee / machine operator, you are significantly involved in the manufacture of semi-finished and finished products according to the production plan. You place great importance on adhering to production guidelines and quality standards and carefully control and monitor the production equipment to ensure a smooth production process and continuous material flow. For the manufacture of our customised customer solutions, you produce pre-assembled roofing membranes for the underlay according to the production plan. Your expertise in timber construction or your craft interest enables you to implement complex roof geometries according to individual customer wishes. In addition, you carry out standardised cleaning and maintenance work and ensure order and cleanliness in the production environment. Compliance with safety regulations is a matter of course for you.Through your active participation in optimising processes and equipment, you make a significant contribution to increasing productivity at SIGA.
