Your scope of action
- Maintenance and modification work: carrying out scheduled maintenance operations, including replacement and inspection of avionics and electrical systems (instruments, electronics, radio and avionics)
- Repairs and fault finding: analysing error messages and diagnostic processes, including fault resolution
- Modification and inspection tasks: visual and functional checks after each flight (condition of the aircraft and systems)
- Work documentation and quality management
- Participation in internal avionics training
Your contribution
- Technical or electrical professional training with a Federal VET Diploma (automation technician, electronics technician, diagnostician or related field)
- Experience in aeronautics and/or automotive electrical systems is desirable but not required
- Excellent technical skills
- Proficiency in English sufficient for communication (level B1/B2); for the Emmen site, knowledge of German is also desirable
- Stress-resistant personality, team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility, combined with a precise and quality-oriented working method
- Swiss nationality/citizenship (required to perform this role on a military basis)
