Role:
As a Polymechanic, you will take on a versatile role in mechanical manufacturing and toolmaking. You will programme, set up, and operate modern CNC milling and turning machines and manufacture precise components, tools, and fixtures for prototypes and series production. You will work independently on varied projects and actively contribute your technical know-how.
Responsibilities:
Design and manufacture of tools, fixtures, and aids
Programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling and turning machines
Manufacture of mechanical parts and components for prototypes and series production
Independent processing of manufacturing orders according to technical drawings and specifications
Assembly and construction of fixtures and tools
Supervision and monitoring of manufacturing processes
Optimisation of machining procedures and manufacturing processes
Qualifications:
Completed training as a polymechanic or production mechanic
Solid experience in CNC manufacturing, especially milling
Very good knowledge of mechanical manufacturing
Confident handling of technical drawings and manufacturing documents
Good German language skills, spoken and written
Independent, structured, and reliable working style
