The team develops, industrialises and operates artificial intelligence applications and models used in production across various fields such as generative AI, computer vision and classical machine learning (clustering, recommendation systems, time series forecasting, etc.). Our environment is primarily based on Databricks, Azure, SQL databases and a set of technical components aimed at accelerating the development, deployment and operation of these solutions.
In this context, we are looking for a profile capable of strengthening the team’s software and cloud foundations to improve the robustness, maintainability, security and scalability of our solutions.
Your responsibilities
You will participate in the construction and evolution of the team’s AI platform, working across the entire lifecycle of applications and services.
You will primarily focus on software and cloud foundations and their industrialisation:
· Define and implement standards for packaging, versioning and distribution of Python libraries.
· Design, maintain and standardise CI/CD pipelines for all team projects.
· Evaluate and improve dependency and environment management tools, and ensure reliability of development workflows between local environments and Databricks.
· Administer production databases (performance, security, scalability) and participate in data integration and governance within the Databricks ecosystem and Unity Catalog.
Depending on the progress of the mission, you may also contribute to applications, models and software quality:
· Design and develop internal applications, from architecture to cloud deployment, as well as interfaces allowing internal users to access applications, models and AI services.
· Industrialise retraining, deployment and monitoring processes for machine learning models.
· Develop a robust testing strategy covering critical libraries, applications and workflows.
In all cases, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of software engineering and MLOps best practices within the team.
Profile sought
You have a background in computer science, software engineering, cloud computing or an equivalent field.
You have proven experience in software development, cloud platforms or data engineering, and wish to evolve in an environment combining AI, cloud and industrialisation.
You are proficient in Python, Git, SQL, CI/CD practices, software architecture and application development.
Experience or interest in the following topics is an asset:
Azure DevOps, Databricks, Azure, Docker, Pytest, REST APIs, MLOps, MLflow, Unity Catalog, Infrastructure as Code, AI agent management, model monitoring, identity and permission management, modern data platforms.
Beyond technical skills, we are looking for a curious, pragmatic person capable of challenging the status quo to advance our technical platform.
You are fluent in French and English.
Why join the team?
You will join a human-scale Data Science team where technical choices have a direct impact on solutions used daily by the business.
You will work on varied issues combining cloud platform, software engineering, MLOps and artificial intelligence, with a high level of autonomy and close proximity to end users.
This mission is a unique opportunity to contribute to the structuring of a modern AI platform based on Azure and Databricks, while participating in high-impact business projects in an international context.
