ICT Governance and Service Manager 100%Welcome to the fascinating world of taxation! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.
In the Digital Services department, we ensure that our IT services meet the high demands of a modern tax office. As an ICT Governance and Service Manager, you will take on a key position in this newly created role between internal IT, the Office for Informatics (AFI), our software suppliers, and the municipal tax offices – with a strategic perspective, proximity to operational processes, and a great deal of personal sensitivity. Our services support over 2,500 municipal and cantonal employees daily, as well as over one million private individuals and companies annually with their tax declarations.
Your responsibilities
- In this key position, you are responsible for all aspects of ICT governance of the cantonal tax office.
- You translate the requirements of the canton, the AFI, the OECD, and other bodies into proportionate and practical solutions.
- Where possible, you influence the design of the requirements placed on us.
- You lead audits of our IT.
- You create requirements for our suppliers, define collaboration models, and lay the foundations for successful service delivery.
- You plan and manage future performance requirements and bring new demands into the change process in a structured manner.
- You further develop IT Service Management and anchor it in the IT governance system using policies, process roles, control metrics, etc.
Your profile
- You have several years of experience in IT governance; ideally applying the governance and service management frameworks COBIT and ITIL.
- You hold a university degree in computer science, business administration, management, or a comparable field.
- You know how to bring different interests together, mediate solution-orientedly, and exert influence – both operationally and strategically.
- A structured, independent, and forward-looking working style with a good sense for your counterpart characterises you, as does a high level of quality and responsibility awareness.
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, are required.
