Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced maintenance technician for the maintenance and servicing of rail vehicles. You will carry out technical inspections, repairs and troubleshooting on vehicles and components and ensure their reliable operational readiness. You will work on mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems in the demanding railway environment.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out maintenance, repair and overhaul work on rail vehicles
Analysing and rectifying mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults
Performing diagnoses, functional tests and technical inspections
Processing and replacing vehicle components, assemblies and wear parts
Supporting conversions, modernisations and technical optimisations
Documenting maintenance work, faults and repairs
Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and maintenance requirements
Qualifications:
Completed technical training EFZ, for example polymechanic, automation technician, mechatronics technician or comparable
Professional experience in the maintenance of rail vehicles, machines or technical systems
Good knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering and pneumatics
Experience in fault finding, diagnosis and repair
Very good German language skills spoken and written
