About the job
As a teaching associate, you will enthusiastically engage in teaching the Bachelor programme «Computational and Data Science» for the modules «Operating Systems and Computer Networks». You are responsible for the content and didactic structure of both modules – from the practical introduction to Linux and computer networks on the Raspberry Pi to the deepening of network protocols, security, web server administration, and cloud computing. You will independently develop the modules in coordination with the programme management and teach them in the autumn semester 2026 and the spring semester 2027.

Teaching assignment for the modules «Operating Systems and Computer Networks»
4 ECTS per semester – teaching in Chur during block weeks
Your profile
- University degree in computer science or a related field
- Several years of practical or academic experience in Linux system administration, computer networks, network security, and server administration
- Experience with Raspberry Pi, shell scripting, SSH, nginx, and network analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump)
- Experience in teaching computer science
- Communicative personality, enthusiasm for teaching and imparting knowledge and skills
