For our client, we are looking for a personality who understands technical contexts and wants to make IT environments more secure. You work at the interface between infrastructure, attack detection, and customer consulting. In doing so, you investigate anomalies, implement improvements directly, and contribute your insights to new projects. A good opportunity to expand existing engineering experience with additional security competencies.
- You implement infrastructure projects with a security focus and accompany their introduction, testing, and documentation
- You evaluate security-relevant events, narrow down causes, and support the restoration of secure operations
- You ensure the reliable functioning of a security platform and resolve issues with data delivery and analysis
- You further develop investigation procedures, reduce false alarms, and automate recurring work steps
- You coordinate measures with customers and internal specialists and communicate technical results clearly
- Familiarity with Microsoft environments, especially Windows, Microsoft 365, as well as Active Directory and Entra ID
- Practical experience with security measures, such as device protection, system hardening, or securing user access
- Interest in analysing attacks and further developing protection mechanisms
- Experience with Defender XDR or Sentinel is helpful; PowerShell and KQL are additional advantages
- Analytical thinking, careful handling of customer systems, and a reliable working style
- Enjoyment of collaboration and consulting as well as willingness to engage with new topics

Tasks
- You check customer environments for security risks and develop concrete improvements for systems, access, and configurations- You implement infrastructure projects with a security focus and accompany their introduction, testing, and documentation

Profile
- Technical educational background and professional experience in supporting IT infrastructures or security solutions- Familiarity with Microsoft environments, especially Windows, Microsoft 365, as well as Active Directory and Entra ID
- Practical experience with security measures, such as device protection, system hardening, or securing user access
- Interest in analysing attacks and further developing protection mechanisms
- Experience with Defender XDR or Sentinel is helpful; PowerShell and KQL are additional advantages
